Adult Activity and Relaxation Holiday 7 Nights
Saturday: Arrive at Biarritz and be collected by Benn in the Land Rover for your private transfer (with DVD, Playstation2 and chilled drinks) back to Houtsak Ina for your Champagne and canape reception by the pool. Relax and settle in before a sumptuous BBQ served on the terrace.
Sunday: Spend the morning relaxing at Houtsak Ina and making use of the gym and bar & games room with pool table, table football and darts. After your lunch go for a local mountain bike ride (or not). Our massuese will come to the house to offer a variety of pamper treatments. In the evening go to a lively tapas restaurant in the historic spa town of Dax.
Monday: After breakfast head off to a fabulous coastal resort for a freshly caught seafood lunch, enjoy the boutique shops and take a trip around the bay in an 8-man Hawaiian canoe (think Hawaii 5 0!!). Back at Houtsak Ina indulge in a four course dinner on the terrace and enjoy some local wines.
Tuesday: Spend the morning relaxing at Houtsak Ina, maybe go to our local cave for some wine tasting. Enjoy a poolside lunch. In the evening head off to the glamorous resort of Biarritz, where we will have reserved you a table at one of the funkiest places in town.
Wednesday: Head off at about 11am and enjoy a picnic on a private beach in the foothills of the Pyrenees before negotiating the rapids (either in 2-man kayaks or an 8-man raft). The scenery really is stunning and there is lots of wildlife to spot, from vultures to mountain goats to birds of prey. Enjoy a four course dinner at Houtsak Ina.
Thursday: In the morning you will go for a formal wine tasting with a Master of Wine at her private Chateau. She is on hand to answer all your questions and talk you through the techniques of tasting and producing wines throughout the day. After a 45 minute walk through the fields to work up your appetite, you will have a wonderful organic, farm-reared lunch at an auberge and then go to a boutique chateau and meet the Contesse for an informal tasting of all the chateau’s wonderful creations. Enjoy a light supper at Houtsak Ina. Benn is a keen amateur photographer and will endeavour to capture your bravest and funniest shots and prepare a slide show tonight and a disc for you to take away with you.
Friday: Enjoy a relaxing final day at Houtsak Ina, making use of all the facilities. Have a light lunch with sparkling wine by the pool, relax and unwind and then head into Pouillon to experience the farmer’s market and dinner at our local Michelin rosette rated restaurant.
Saturday: After brunch enjoy a morning relaxing by the pool before heading off for your 4pm flight.
The price for the above itinerary is €699 per adult. This includes all transport and organisation whilst in France and the above-mentioned activities (including 30 min massage for adults).
