Surfing Fun For All
At French Fusion one of our most popular activities for all types of groups has been surfing. It doesn't matter how fit you are, what size you are, what age you are, anyone can give it a try and that makes it a great family activity.
In the South West of France we are blessed with some of the best surfing beaches in the world and they are especially agreable to people who have never surfed before as the waves break on sand bars as opposed to sharp coral reefs.
Additionaly, during the summer months the wave size (the swell) is usually perfect to learn on, or for the better surfers out there, enjoy some longboarding sessions. Summer of 2008 has been excellent with there hardly ever being a completley flat day.
French Fusion has used the same private surf instructor for nearly 4 years now. He has his own surf camp right on a beautiful sandy beach with loads of space to spread out on. Even when you have finished your surf lesson you can enjoy the rest of the day on the beach with your books, ipods or use the beach games provdided by us.
Surf lessons are suitable from about the age of 5 or 6 upwards - Benn is more than happy to babysit if Mums want to give it a go too.
