Swimming Pool at Houtsak Ina
The swimming pool at Houtsak ina is heated throughout the season, from late April to early October, the temperature is kept at a very agreeable 26 degrees celcius. There are quality teak sun loungers for every guest with cushions. We also provide all pool towels, beach towels (for day trips) as well as your bedroom towels.
The gardens at Houtsak Ina are what we call like to call our woodland gardens. The garden slopes down with a selection of paths and steps down to our half acre of woods with a trail through. The gardens are maintained but retain a wild nature to them. We often have local deer and wild boar in the woods as well as many species of birds including some beautiful owls. We have our own vegetable garden where we try each year to put some fresh produce straight out of the ground and onto your plate.
The swimming pool is completely fenced off from the gardens and the main house and is done so in a tasteful manner. We also have a pool alarm which will sound if any little ones decide to go for an unsupervised swim.
We provide mountain bikes for every guest and we have a selection of childrens bikes and 2 bikes with baby seats. These are great to head off and explore the locality. There are actually 3 mountain bike trails in and around Pouillon for the more adventurous of you.
