Wine Tasting Tours With Guides and Tasting
At French Fusion we offer a selection of wine tours, from a day out up to the famous chateaux of the Bordeaux regions to a potter down to the cave at the bottom of the road to sample the local stuff.
One of our most popular tours involves a morning at the private 17th Century Chateau of a Master of Wine, where you will taste a range of wines and pick up some tasting tips and techniques. This is followed by lunch at a farmer's auberge, enjoying hand-reared and home-grown delights. Then it's off to a Boutique chateau to meet the Contesse and visit her cellars to learn about the wine making process and of course a tad more tasting.
On our day trip to Bordeaux you will go to a small private wine maker to learn about the wine of the region and what to taste for. You will then head off to one of the best Chateaux in the region that produces a Premier Grand Cru Classe wine. There you can enjoy lunch in either their Michelin rated restaurant or in the less formal auberge before the formal wine tour, visiting the caves, the cooperage and tasting the magnificent wines.
